Mon, 02/06/2012 - 22:20 | vanhammer After day 1 I went home and had a couple of Ryes and put day one's videos together. Hopefully my two losses vs Grey Knights would put me with the people with the more interesting less broken armies.
It didn't disappoint, with two great games - a tie and a solid victory with the anti-mech potential of my list demonstrating itself.
My fourth game was spearhead take and hold against a Thousand Sons army

Sat, 02/04/2012 - 22:49 | vanhammer Today was the first day of the Gottacon 2012 40K GT.
I came to the tournament with a very middle of the road blood angels list because I don't enjoy beat-face hammer lists and know that there's no way I could compete with Grey Knights with the models I have. I expected Grey Knights and Dark Eldar to give me a very hard time and expect to lose 3 out of 5 games.
My list consisted of:
HQ: Commander Dante (1#, 225 pts)
1 Commander Dante, 225 pts
: Honour Guard (5#, 285 pts)
1 Honour Guard, 50 pts + Equip with Jump Packs 50
1 Sanguinary Novitiate, 23 pts
