A-Club will be running a 40K league beginning the 3rd Friday of January at Gamestars in Langley B.C.

List rules:
Standard GW 40K (no forgeworld units, including IA and IAA2E).
1500 points
Standard FOC
You will keep the same list for the duration of the league.

Yesterday the Vanhammer40K tournament was held, with everyone showing up, the games running on schedule and all players conducting themselves in the spirit of the event. I'd like to thank all participants for making the event enjoyable to run.

With Gamestars being able to host 10 tables I have expanded the October 1st Vanhammer40K tournament to 20 players.

That's allowed two people on the waiting list to obtain slots - with two more left over.

Gamestars in Langley BC was running Vancouver's 'ard Boyz qualifier.

The first three places went to:
1st - Adrian Trollip Running a Grey Knights list
2nd - Adam Sarophim with Tau
3rd - Paul Forbes with Blood Angels

The event had 18 players with almost every army in 40K

The most suprising result would be a Necron army Kicking butt in the first two rounds and playing off on top table against Adrian's triple storm raven assault army in the final round.

Almost all the players played awesomely and with good grace.
